Week Notes 003

April is zooming on by and I’m still trying to wrap my head around how we’re almost at the end of the month. I toyed around with the idea of doing Monthly highlights but I’m trying to avoid over committing to things, even if it’s just with myself… so that immediately went out of the window.
- Joined the omg.lol ecosphere, which inspired me to also join Mastodon. Still finding my footing, people to follow, etc. I think getting used to this will take some time. For now, (some of) my posts will probably just get cross-posted there.
- I’m continuing to go through and catalog my old blog (that’s no longer active) from 2007-2016. I initially wanted to import them to one of my active blog platforms, but I’m putting that idea on hold. I was a bit more raw in the way I wrote back then so I’m contemplating how much of my words I’d like to put back into the world.
- I’ve rediscovered my love for Obsidian after using it as an offline back-up tool for my various social presence.

Third week of being in between projects.
- Finalized my next adventure, and unofficially onboarding and getting to know the product this week. Officially onboarding mid-next week.
- Attended (what is hopefully) my last physical therapy session. I'll probably just continue to keep doing the exercises at home... and will only go back if my pain level increases again.
- 🔗 Randomly came across this Italian shop for dog bags: Ugo for Dogs. We’ve been looking for the perfect backpack that will hold Cocoa and seems like this is perfect. Will need to do more research.
- 🤕 Total migraine count for the week: 3/7
- This week was a bad one for my migraines. Hoping for a better week next week.
📚 Reading
- Finished book 12 of 2024 - What Lies in the Woods by Kate Alice Marshall for my book club discussion next week. Personal rating: 4/5 stars.
- Finished book 13 of 2024 — A Woman in Me by Britney Spears. I alternated between reading and listening to it, but mostly listening to it on Spotify. Personal rating: 3/5 stars.
- Started A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas — it finally became available via Libby after waiting months since I first put it on hold (and because I kept delaying it to finish the above books).
📺 Watching
- Finished Physical: 100 on Netflix. Happy with the winner since I was rooting for them from the very beginning. I get pretty invested in these shows, even if most of the time they start of as background shows.
- Started 3 Body Problem on Netflix. I’m not that far into it yet but I’ve heard good things. Still waiting to get hooked on it though.
- Watched Megan Leavey on Netflix (4/5) -- all of the feels with this movie.
